All of my friends were excited for the monkey bars and pushed me to go on them, but when I fell, nobody came to help me up or ask if I was alright. Is this normal? Real friends are there for you in every situation, not just when it’s fun or when it’s convenient. It is not normal for people who you consider friends to not comfort you when you are sad or help you when you fall. You have every right to be upset. Friends talk about serious things, and personal issues, and fun stuff, not just one of those categories.
