How To Make Paper Bag

Do you know how to make a paper bag? This guide will teach you an easy bag craft in a step-by-step manner.

Step 1: Take a piece of paper that is square-shaped.

Step 2: Fold the paper into a triangle.

Step 3: Adjust the edges so the folding is perfect.

Step 4: Now open the paper. You can see equal triangles on the top and bottom.

Step 5: Create another triangle by folding any edge, right or left.

Step 6: Now you can see four equal triangles, with one triangle on each side.

Step 7: Now adjust the paper so that it looks like a diamond. Then make a small triangle by folding the bottom.

Step 8: Just like step 7, form another triangle on the top. Make sure they both look equal.

Step 9: Then unfold the paper. You can see three parallel lines due to folding.

Step 10: From the bottom, create a triangle that touches the first parallel line from the top.

Step 11: Now unfold the paper.

Step 12: Repeat the same process as told in step 10, but this time the triangle should be from the top.

Step 13: Now you can find five parallel lines on the paper.

Step 14: On the bottom, make one tiny triangle by folding the paper inside.

Step 15: Repeat the same on the top too. (Refer to step 14.)

Step 16: Now fold the whole paper into a triangle.

Step 17: Then fold the bottom portion into a thin strip.

Step 18: On the right-side corner, make a small folding that looks like a triangle.

Step 19: Repeat the same on the left side as well. (Refer to step 18.)

Step 20: Now you can see a boat-like design.

Step 21: Unfold the whole design. Place the paper to look like a diamond, then fold the right-side edge to form a triangle.

Step 22: Make another triangle on the left side too, just like the right side. (Refer to 21)

Step 23: Now fold any one side (either the top or bottom) to look like a triangle.

Step 24: You can see how the design looks after folding.

Step 25: Now open the folded halves and fold it again so you form a triangle with the inner green outside.

Step 26: On the right-side bottom, create a small triangle fold.

Step 27: Repeat the same on the left side too. (Refer to 26)

Step 28: Now unfold everything, and with the diamond shape as the base, form triangles on the right and left edges.

Step 29: Fold it once again so it touches the line just below the triangle on the left side

Step 30: Repeat the same process on the left side too, just like the above. Now you can see two boat-like shapes overlapping each other.

Step 31: Now unfold the boat design and lift it up so it looks somewhat like a base for a boat.

Step 32: Now pull the top portion up so it looks like it's facing upwards. With fingers stuck between each triangle, pull and place the triangles touching the paper facing upward.

Step 33: Fold the top part inside.

Step 34: Now turn the design upside down. You see the new top portion left free and the other sides folded. This structure looks like a house

Step 35: Now fold the triangle on the right and left sides

Step 36: Repeat step 32.

Step 37: Repeat step 33.

Step 38: Now you can see the bag design with sides folded inside

Step 39: Let’s make the handle for it.

Step 40: Take another square piece of paper and cut a long, thin strip.

Step 41: Cut the strip into two halves using scissors.

Step 42: Now take one strip.

Step 43: Apply some glue on the white portion.

Step 44: Paste the strip on the bag so it looks like a handle. Make sure the white color is seen outside.

Step 45: The handle is ready for one side.

Step 46: Create a handle for the other side too. (Repeat step 44.)

Step 47: Take a sketch pen and draw an emoticon with two dots and a smiley.

Step 48:  A wonderful paper bag is ready. Repeat the same process using different color papers
