How to draw a chicken: step-by-step drawing instructions 

Step 1: Draw the beak, and then one wattle beneath it. 

Step 2: Put the second wattle on top of the first one. 

Step 3: Draw the comb over one side of the head of a chicken. 

Step 4: Attach the head's back and neck beneath the comb. 

Step 5: Draw the long curving line of the back downwards. 

Step 6: Continue to draw the body line downwards until you reach the belly and chest. 

Step 7: Draw the lower body, and the under-feather curve at the bottom. 

Step 8: Then add the tail-fluffy section to the rear of hen’s body. 

Step 9: Outline the wing within the body. 

Step 10: Incorporate the fluffy feathers of the lower layer beneath the tail. 

Step 11: Draw the feathers of the top tail that are sticking out to the rear. 

Step 12: Include the neck feathers on the front of the body. 

Step 13: Draw the feet and legs beneath the body. 

Step 14: Incorporate additional long tail feathers to the back of the body. 

Step 15: Make feathers on the wings. 

Step 16: Include the eye and tiny feathers on the body and neck. 

Step 17: Create the pupils. and darken them, and then draw more tiny marks with feathers over the body. 

Step 18: You have completed the chicken drawing. Color it with your favourite crayons and enjoy!
