How to Draw a Cliff Scenery – Easy Nature Landscape Drawing for Kids

How to draw a cliff? Monkey Pen teaches you simple tricks to create a wonderful cliff drawing. Come on, let’s explore the steps.

Step 1: First draw a line randomly that looks imperfect. At the end of the line, add a few curves and bends below and towards the right.

Step 2: From it, draw some gentle curves and take a sharp turn to create a ‘V’ facing right, followed by almost a straight line in the vertical direction.

Step 3: Near the upper part of the vertical line, draw a small vertical line and take it horizontally to the right with a few sharp and gentle curves.

Step 4: On the top, at the first sharp edge of the horizontal line, draw a medium curve that looks nearly like J.

Step 5: From the lower part of J, draw an imperfect vertical line.

Step 6: Adjacent to it, draw another vertical line that lies slanting. From the top at the second bend, create one more line that passes vertically down in a slanting position and with soft curves.

Step 7: From the third sharp bend, draw a half U, then a J below. On the next big bend, draw a curved line that branches into two vertical lines below with mild curves.

Step 8: In the middle of the last line that is shown, create a small horizontal line followed by an imperfect ‘V’ with little curves and bends. On the upper portion of V, draw a small curve on one side. This curve makes the cliff.

Step 9: Below the cliff, draw small rocks of different sizes that look like triangles with low bends.

Step 10: Add a few more rocks behind those old ones, in various sizes, and show plants growing within using small Us and Vs.

Step 11: On the left, just below the cliff, include a few small rocks varying in size, followed by a small straight line, then a tiny, narrow oval below.

Step 12: Draw smaller and bigger curves below to show seawater.

Step 13: Next to the cliff, add water movements using a straight line and some wavy designs, one below the other.

Step 14: On top of the cliff as well as inside, show some plants growing with sharp spikes randomly.

Step 15: A natural cliff scenery drawing is completed.
