How to draw a flying eagle? With Monkey Pen’s step-by-step guide, you can create a wonderful drawing of an eagle in flight.
Step 1: First draw the beak of the eagle, which is slightly curved. The upper beak looks broader and has a dot, while the lower beak is narrow.
Step 2: Draw its fluffy head that appears rounded with few spikes
Step 3: Create its neck, which is again fluffy with spikes.
Step 4: Draw its feather on the body with a slanting line on the right side.
Step 5: Complete the first layer of feathers using a series of tiny U's.
Step 6: Make another layer of feathers just like the above.
Step 7: Draw its third layer of wings, with long, narrow finger-like shapes.
Step 8: Complete the whole layer using some tiny U's, followed by a small vertical line that goes upwards.
Step 9: Draw a curved line below the neck.
Step 10: Between the curved line and layer of feathers, add a U-like design with tiny bumps, which appears like a sac.
Step 11: Below it, draw a rounded square with a sharp oval inside at the middle of the extreme right side. This is the eagle's right leg
Step 12: Draw the eagle’s back with a fluffy design, right below the sac.
Step 13: Draw the tail wing at the back, which is softer.
Step 14: Create its first layer of left-side wing just like the right side, but shorter.
Step 15: Draw the second layer of the left side wing with a fluffy design.
Step 16: Then make the third, fluffier layer of feathers.
Step 17: Create its left leg below a wide sac.
Step 18: Include feather patterns for the third layer on the right side, using vertical lines.
Step 19: Add vertical lines across the third layer of wings on the left side too.
Step 20: On the tail, don’t forget to give feather patterns using vertical lines.
Step 21: To show fluffy feathers on the body, give tiny U's randomly. Also use vertical lines within the legs to indicate claws.
Step 22: Add an eye for the eagle with a tiny circle and a curved line above.
Step 23: Fill in the eye to show its eyeball.
