How to Draw a Hedgehog Step by Step – Cute Animal Drawing for Kids


Follow the easy drawing steps and watch a tiny hedgehog appear as simple shapes turn into a cute, spiky little animal.

Step 1: Let’s begin drawing a charming hedgehog. First of all, draw a chain of “M” s as shown in the image.

Step 2: Now, add two semicircles on both sides of the chain you have.

Step 3: Now draw another semicircular shape connecting those ears for the bear's face.

Step 4: Add detailing to the ears, as in the given image.

Step 5: Now draw the mouth, eyebrows and nose inside the face.

Step 6: Start drawing the body of the hedgehog using curved lines, as shown in the image.

Step 7: Add two legs at the bottom, connected by a small curved line.

Step 8: Now draw the front legs inside the body as shown in the image.

Step 9: Start drawing another layer of the sweeping triangle chain above the head of the hedgehog.

Step 10: Extend the chain of sweeping triangles on the right side of the body of the animal.

Step 11: Repeat the same on the left side, too.

Step 12: Add some more detailing using some small curved lines inside the fur you have just drawn.

Step 13: Draw two small circles for the eyes. Also, add lines on the hands and legs to draw fingers.

Step 14: Darken the eyeballs.

Step 15: Your adorable, fluffy hedgehog drawing is ready. Color it and showcase your art!
