Feb 23, 2026
Let’s learn how to draw a jellyfish using simple tricks. Monkey Pen’s step-by-step guide makes jellyfish art easier and playful.
Step 1: Draw a half-moon shape in a slanting position first for the jellyfish’s body.

Step 2: Add tiny curves on the right side and a small curve on the left side.

Step 3: Include gentle ‘C’s facing upward inside the body.

Step 4: Above this, draw a line horizontally using little curves. Now the body looks like an umbrella.

Step 5: Draw a long tentacle on the right that looks like a hook.

Step 6: Complete the tentacle, narrower at the beginning and pointed at the end.

Step 7: Add a tentacle on the left with a small hook-like design.

Step 8: Draw a curved line parallel to the hook to complete the left tentacle.

Step 9: Draw a still longer tentacle on the right, just beside the previous tentacle.

Step 10: Add a curved line parallel to it to complete that tentacle.

Step 11: Again, on the left, include one longer tentacle nearby.

Step 12: With a curved line, the tentacle is just created.

Step 13: Draw a series of gentle ‘C’s vertically at the right side, just beside the longer tentacle.

Step 14: Continue the series with the same design.

Step 15: Besides, create the same design, parallel to it.

Step 16: Complete the curvy design using softer curves.

Step 17: Beside the curvy tentacle, almost from its mid-point, draw one more curvy design for the tentacle.

Step 18: From the top, draw the upper curvy design.

Step 19: Below, draw the tiny curves to complete the tentacle.

Step 20: Include a curvy tentacle on the left side too.

Step 21: With the same design parallel to it, the tentacle can be completed.

Step 22: Place tiny ovals within the curved tentacles and dash like lines arranged in a circular pattern as well as vertically.

Step 23: An amazing jellyfish artwork is completed.
