How to Draw a Pizza Step by Step (Easy Circle Drawing for Kids)

Cheesy slices, curved crusts, and fun little toppings make this pizza drawing lesson especially enjoyable for younger artists and beginners. The step-by-step visuals keep the process simple and easy to follow, helping each part of the drawing come together naturally without feeling intimidating. Printable PDF worksheets are included too, so kids can practice offline, color their finished pizza, or redraw it with their own favorite toppings. A playful art activity that mixes creativity with a little foodie fun.

Get ready to sketch a delicious pizza! Kids can build the slice with simple shapes, then add cheese and toppings for a fun food drawing.

Step 1: Draw a big circle that is three-fourths.

Step 2: Draw an inner circle and close the ends; it looks like the alphabet 'C’ facing the right-side corner of the paper. This is the outer crust.

Step 3: At every few distances on the thin pizza crust, add thin stripes vertically and horizontally that lie parallel to each other.

Step 4: Draw a medium ‘V’ inside, at the top, to show a pizza slice.

Step 5: Draw a narrow V inside, facing the left-side corner of the page, for another pizza slice.

Step 6: In the right-side corner below, include one pizza slice using a narrow V.

Step 7: Draw another pizza slice on the right-side corner at the top, with a small 'V' and edges slightly protruding towards the tip. Make sure the slice is smaller and doesn't meet the other slices to show that slice is cut.

Step 8: Draw a wavy design inside to show the sauce spread over it.

Step 9: Draw many circles with an outline and inner circle. These are cut tomatoes. Inside broad slices, add two tomato pieces, and within narrow slices, provide a single tomato piece.

Step 10: Include details for the tomato by using tiny circles in a circular pattern and a slightly bigger circle at the centre.

Step 11: Add toppings like mushrooms inside, using bean shapes and heart shapes.

Step 12: Include olives too, with small outer and inner circles inside.

Step 13: Add herbs or flavors using tiny circles.

Step 14: A delicious pizza drawing is over.
