How to Draw Stick Animals Drawing – Easy Step-by-Step Guide

Turn simple lines and circles into fun stick-style animals as kids follow easy drawing steps designed for beginners.

Step 1: Draw the shape of the beak: Create a long, sharp triangle, then curve the larger end to close the beak (like a teardrop, but with a point).

Step 2: Create the body: Draw a big circle that joins to the beak.

Step 3: Make the feathers on top: Then, add two tiny triangles to the top of the circle, right behind the beak.

Step 4: To add the wing, on the left side of the beak is a tiny sideways triangle (like the fin/wing that sticks out).

Step 5: Make the tail feathers: Then, on the other side, place three triangles with pointed ends in the form of a row.

Step 6: Finalise the bird: Draw one tiny dot for the eye, and then add two simple legs, just two lines, each using very tiny "V" feet.

Step 7: Draw one ear: create an oval, tall and thin shape (like an ear of a bunny).

Step 8: Add the head to the head: Draw a circle below the ear so that your ear connects with it at the very top.

Step 9: Make the other ear: Create a tall oval beside the first ear.

Step 10: Create the body: Starting on the left, draw a large oval or circle for the bunny's body.

Step 11: Draw the tail: Add a small circle to the back of your body.

Step 12: Draw feet on the board: Add the feet: Draw two small ovals under the body of the bunny to form its feet.

Step 13: Make the inner ear: Create a long, curving line in each ear to define the ear's interior feature.

Step 14: Draw the mouth and nose: Include a little round nose shape and a curved mouth beneath it.

Step 15: Make eyes: Make two tiny dots across the face to create eyes for the bunny.

Step 16: Draw a ball below the animals: Draw a small circle.

Step 17: To add a handle, from your ball, draw an oval shape that is curved downwards (the beginning of a handle for a racket).

Step 18: Draw the racket's head: Add a larger oval shape to the handle to create the head of the racket.

Step 19: Draw the left wing: Create a large oval wing to the left on the back of the butterfly's body.

Step 20: Draw the wing on the bottom right and add an oval wing that is smaller on the right-hand side.

Step 21: Draw the wing on the left side of the bottom: Include an additional oval wing on the left-hand side.

Step 22: Add antennae: Add two lines across the top of the head of the butterfly.

Step 23: Complete the drawing: Leave all the lines exactly as they are - the bird, bunny, and butterfly drawings are completed.
