A little monkey saw a big, juicy yellow mango hanging high on a tree.
“Wow! What a beautiful mango,” he said with a smile.
He walked to the tree and began to climb.
He went up… slowly…
He reached for the mango…
But the branch was a little high and slippery.
The monkey paused.
“That’s okay,” he said softly.
An old elephant nearby watched kindly.
“Would you like some help?” the elephant asked.
“Yes, please,” said the monkey happily.
The elephant gently shook the tree.
Rustle… rustle…
Plop! The mango fell down.
“Oh!” the monkey clapped with joy.
“Thank you!”
He picked up the mango and smiled.
“Let’s share it together!”
They both sat under the tree,
eating the sweet mango slowly and happily.
The breeze blew gently, and both friends smiled.
