It was a bright, sunny Saturday morning.
Maya was very excited.
Today, she was going on a fun trip to the park with her best friends—Ben, Lily, and Sam.
She packed a small bag with her water bottle, a picnic lunch, and her favourite red cap.
"I can't wait for our adventure!" she said with a big smile.
Soon, Maya skipped to the park, where her friends were waiting.
She waved to them, and all the four friends smiled excitedly at each other.
"Are you ready?" asked Ben.
"Yes!" everyone cheered.
Together, the four friends set off for a wonderful day full of fun, laughter, and exciting discoveries.
They happily started walking together along a wide park path surrounded by green grass, colorful flowers, butterflies and leafy trees.
Maya walked in front with excitement while the others chat and laugh. Bright blue sky with fluffy white clouds created a cheerful atmosphere.
They saw colorful butterflies dancing over flowers.
"Can we follow them?" asked Lily.
The butterflies flew to a small garden.
The children found tiny ladybirds, busy bees, and sweet-smelling flowers.
"Wow!" whispered Sam. "Nature is amazing!"
Next, they reached a little pond.
"Ducklings!" Maya laughed.
The fluffy ducklings followed their mother in a neat line.
The children waved.
"Quack! Quack!" the ducks replied.
After that, everyone sat under a big tree.
They had bought apples, sandwiches, and juice.
Ben had forgotten his snack.
"Don't worry," said Maya.
"We can all share!"
Everyone smiled.
When they finished eating, Sam noticed a piece of paper on the grass.
"Oh no! Someone dropped litter."
The friends picked it up and put it in the bin.
"Now the park looks clean again," said Lily.
Soon they found a small playground.
They took turns on the swings.
They climbed, slid, laughed, and played together.
No one was left out.
As the sun began to set, the sky turned orange and pink.
"What was your favourite part?" Maya asked.
"The butterflies!" said Lily.
"The ducklings!" said Sam.
"Sharing our picnic," smiled Ben.
Maya grinned.
"My favourite part was spending the day with all of you."
The friends walked home with happy hearts, already dreaming about their next adventure together.
