All of our personalised books are created with manual illustration by our in-house artists. Since the books are not standardised digital products, we will not be able to produce an instant preview for you before you have confirmed the order with us.

4. How can I be sure that my child’s photograph is secure on your website?
All your personal information, including photographs, is processed through Shopify, a PCI compliant, secure system that uses SSL technology to protect customer information and photographs. In addition, since we are a UK company, your personal data is covered by EU data protection law (GDPR).
Once artists have finished creating the illustrations for the personalised book, based on the photo uploaded by you, the photograph will be deleted from our digital database. We value the customer trust that we have built up over the years and to ensure that we live up our reputation, we have airtight processes in place to make sure that your child’s photograph is used only for creating the personalised book and deleted immediately after use.

5. What photograph file formats are suitable for submission?
JPG and JPEG offer the best results, but PNG and GIF format can also be used.

6. How many photographs should I submit?
We need a minimum of one photograph, submitted as per our photograph submission advice (click here for details). For best results, we recommend that you submit two or three, since then our artists will have more details to work with while creating your child’s illustration for the book. However, we may ask you to send another photograph, if the one you have uploaded is not suitable for the book. A coloured, passport-type photo works best (Front profile and smiling would be awesome!)

8. Do you offer personalised children’s book with more than one child in the book?
Right now, we have a selection of stories that is exclusively dedicated to one child. However, we are working on other options for personalised stories, and will soon have books that allow for different variations.

Our personalised books offer customised illustration of your child (based on the photograph sent), Our in-house artists will create a likeness of your child, and will not just cut-and-paste the photograph sent. Your child’s illustration will appear 13 to 15 times all through the personalised book. There will be a personal message for your child and her/his name will appear on the introduction page. The book will have your dedication to mark the occasion, which we will print for free. We have girl/boy version of the books and a variation on skin tone (light, medium, dark) is available for each story.

Our hardcover format has a sturdy cover with a lovely glossy, laminated finish and thick, child-friendly pages. The hardcover produced with high-quality boards that are pre-cut and bound by a binding machine. They are stitch bound to ensure longer lasting quality. The inside of the book is printed on 120 gms coated white paper.
