How to make a carnival ride: step-by-step description
Step 1: Take a small paper cup.

Step 2: Create a small slit in the centre of the cup's bottom using a compass.

Step 3: Create another small hole in the side of the cup, near the upper edge.

Step 4: Your cup should have holes ready.

Step 5: Pick up a piece of colored craft paper.

Step 6: Place the cup on top of the paper, then draw a circle with the pencil

Step 7: Carefully cut the traced circle.

Step 8: Make sure the paper circle is in the bag.

Step 9: take a small straw or stick.

Step 10: Take a string.

Step 11: String the one end of the string tightly around the stick.

Step 12: Push the stick through the hole at the cup's high point. Then draw the string out of the hole on the side

Step 13: Make sure you pull the string gently so it can move freely in the cup.

Step 14: Make a small cut in the middle of the circle.

Step 15: The circle on the paper should be ready for attachment.

Step 16: Use glue to seal the bottom of the cup.

Step 17: Place the paper circle on the bottom, with the glued side facing down.

Step 18: Create a second circle with a different colour to decorate.

Step 19: Cut small triangle shapes in different colors for use as ride decorations.

Step 20: Attach the smaller shapes to the circle to create a design for the carnival rides you take part in.

Step 21: Begin sticking the colored paper shapes onto this red circle.
Step 22: Complete the circle by adding different colored sections to create patterns.

Step 23: Cut small straight lines along the edge toward the centre (do not cut through the whole thing).

Step 24: Fold one tiny section slightly to create the appearance of a raised section.

Step 25: Apply glue to one folded piece.

Step 26: Put it in place neatly to hold the shape.

Step 27: Make another circle of white paper.

Step 28: Create a small cut at the centre.

Step 29: Create a few tiny holes around the circle close to the edges.

Step 30: Attach this white circle to the stick emerging from the cup.

Step 31: Make sure to gently press it down so that it is flat on the top of the cup.

Step 32: Make a long piece of colored paper.

Step 33: Wrap the strip around the stick.

Step 34: Apply glue to secure the strip in place.

Step 35: Press it gently until it is well-sticky.

Step 36: Take some paper straws.

Step 37: Slice the straws into smaller, equal pieces.

Step 38: Ensure all the smaller pieces of the puzzle are ready.

Step 39: Create small holes around the top of the circle, if needed.

Step 40: Your carnival ride's top is now ready to be attached to the pieces together and then decorated.

Step 41: The string can be cut into smaller equal pieces.

Step 42: Make sure you have all the string pieces in the bag.

Step 43: Use a small straw and place part of the string in it.

Step 44: The string should be pulled into the straw with care.

Step 45: One seat string to hang is now in place.

Step 46: Hang more seat cords using the same method.

Step 47: Attach the string pieces to the holes that surround the top of the circle.

Step 48: Attach the hanging strings to neatly wrap them on the rails.

Step 49: Connect all the hanging pieces equally over the top.

Step 50: Apply glue to the middle of the top piece.

Step 51: Put the round piece of colored paper onto the stick in the middle for the roof.

Step 52: Carnival rides are beginning to take shape. Carefully pull the string to check it.

Step 53: Make a long zigzag strip of colored paper to decorate.

Step 54: Place the zigzag strip along the roof edge to complete your carnival experience.
