It is a fantastic, playful project for building fine motor control and exploring simple mechanics. With easy-to-follow step-by-step picture instructions breaking down the assembly, and a video tutorial for extra guidance, creating this animated springtime toy is pure joy.

How to make an egg and chick: step-by-step description

Step 1:  Let's begin making an egg and a chick. First, take three different-coloured circle-shaped craft paper pieces: one is a black, large circle; the second is a white, medium circle; and the third is a yellow, small circle.
