How to Make Origami Crab
?How to make an origami crab: step-by-step description
Step 1: Start with a square piece of paper, then fold it into a diamond.

Step 2: Fold the paper in half along its diagonals to form an arcuate shape. Be sure to press the fold.

Step 3: Open the paper to reveal a square shape, which will show an angled fold.

Step 4: Fold diagonally in the opposite direction to form a triangle. Be sure to press down firmly on the fold.

Step 5: Create an entirely new rectangle (there is the X crease).

Step 6: Then fold the pieces in half to form a rectangle. Press the fold.

Step 7: Open the fold now.

Step 8: The rectangle must then be folde in half in the opposite orientation (another rectangle). Then, press the fold.

Step 9: After that, open the flap again (you have now been covered with folds that remind you of grids or the star).

Step 10: Fold the creases to create a small foundation (push the sides together, then fold them flat).

Step 11: Then, flatten it to an equivalent triangle.

Step 12: Fold one corner flap upwards to create an angle.

Step 13: Fold the upper corner flap in the same manner to achieve the crown-like form.

Step 14: Adjust and sharpen the folds so that each side appears as it should.

Step 15: There are three points on the upper (like small spikes).

Step 16: The bottom edge is folded to create an extended strip that runs along the claw.

Step 17: Turn the strip around and press it to keep it straight and level.

Step 18: One flap fold inward, then outwards, forming the claws of a crab or its legs.

Step 19: Fold the flaps to match the corresponding flaps on the opposite side until you achieve a crab-like form with visible claws and legs.

Step 20: The mouth should be opened gently, and then the crab should be gently shaped. The body should be pulled away from its centre, then the folds cleaned to ensure the claws and legs are clearly visible.

Step 21: Simply move and smooth the small flaps to form the legs of the crab. You can then turn the top point around slightly to make the claws stand higher.

Step 22: The origami crab is finished. Make sure to check the folds and ensure that the claws and legs appear identical.

Step 23: Be sure to apply the glue before putting two googly eyes in the middle of the head of the crab.

Step 24: Eyes should be shut tightly. The crab is now sporting an adorable smile!

Step 25: Create additional crabs in different colors and then put them together.
