How to make paper brinjal: step-by-step Instructions 

Step 1: Cut the violet colored square piece of paper and lay it flat on the table.

Step 2: The paper should be folded diagonally in order to create the shape of a triangle.

Step 3: Fold one edge toward the centre line, and then press it gently.

Step 4: Fold the other edge of the side towards the centre line, creating the long shape of a right-angled triangle.

Step 5: Fold the top edge downwards.

Step 6: Turn the paper to fold it upwards as in the image.

Step 7: Fold it carefully to ensure that the fold stays firm.

Step 8: Fold the opposite sides towards the inside as in the image.

Step 9: Press the two corners of the bottom to form the brinjal's base.

Step 10: Your blue brinjal is in the process of being prepared. Fold the lower side inwards as in the image.

Step 11: Fold the other side edge also.

Step 12: Take a green square-shaped sheet and fold it diagonally into the shape of a triangle.

Step 13: Fold the triangle once more to form a smaller triangle.

Step 14: Smooth the fold carefully.

Step 15: Gently open one side slightly.

Step 16: Fold the small side flap to the right.

Step 17: Form the green paper into the leaves of a brinjal by folding the right side also in the same way.

Step 18: Now, again open the folds on the backside.

Step 19: Fold the opened flaps inwards, just like you have folded it early. 

Step 20: Press the folds tight and repeat the same on the other flap. 

Step 21: Open the folds carefully.

Step 22: Fold one side inward to form the pointed edge of the leaf.

Step 23: Fold the second side of the crease inwards and press the folds tightly.

Step 24: Join the leaf segments together to create an edging of brinjal just as in the image.

Step 25: Fold the top portion inwards and flatten it nicely.

Step 26: Take a glue stick and apply it on that leafy shape you have just made.

Step 27: Attach the green leaf over the blue body.

Step 28: Let it dry and stick well.

Step 29: Add one googly eye on the brinjal.

Step 30: Attach the second googly eye on the brinjal.

Step 31: Ensure that the eyes are aligned equally, and now take a white marker or pen.

Step 32: Create a tiny smiling mouth beneath the eyes.
