How to Make Paper Handcrafted Doll
How to make a paper handcrafted doll: step-by-step description
Step 1: Choose two different-colored papers, maybe pink and blue. Pick one for the dress and another for the top.

Step 2: Grab your pink piece of paper and fold it into a tiny strip at the bottom.

Step 3: Continue folding the pink paper in smaller equal folds, similar to fans.

Step 4: Fold the pink paper in an accordion shape or fan shape.

Step 5: Press and pinch the fold on one side of the pink paper until it resembles a dress.

Step 6: Place the blue piece of paper on its side.

Step 7: Cut the blue paper into smaller pieces, as you did with the pink paper.

Step 8: Continue folding the entire blue sheet into a fan.

Step 9: Pinched one end of the blue paper to create the body's upper part.

Step 10: Apply glue to the lower middle of the folded pink piece.

Step 11: Apply pressure and hold it so the pink paper expands into a broad fan to fit the doll's outfit.

Step 12: Fold the blue piece in half and place it over the pink dress to form the top portion of your doll.

Step 13: String a string around the middle of the top piece to secure both pieces, and tie a loop to hang.

Step 14: Unfold and neaten the folds. The doll's body is now all set.

Step 15: Grab one small piece of black cardstock and sketch a curly hair design on it.

Step 16: Cut along the outline with care.

Step 17: You'll receive a black curved piece to hold the doll's hair.

Step 18: Cut an incredibly small white circle to make a face for the doll.

Step 19: Apply glue to either the reverse of the circle or your black hairpiece.

Step 20: Then, stick the white circle on the black form to create the doll's head

Step 21: Cut a tiny extra piece of black paper to cover the front hair or bangs.

Step 22: Apply glue on both sides of your hair piece in black.

Step 23: Attach it to the white circle on the doll's face to complete the doll's hair.

Step 24: Use a black pencil to draw the doll's eyes, eyebrows, smile, and nose.

Step 25: The doll's face is all set.

Step 26: Apply glue to the top face.

Step 27: Attach the head to the top of the folded body.

Step 28: Use two craft sticks of orange or strips of paper for legs.

Step 29: Put one leg underneath the dress.

Step 30: Join the second leg next to the first leg.

Step 31: Use a black pencil to draw a color on the ends of the legs to create shoes.

Step 32: You've got it! Your handmade doll is complete and is ready to be displayed.
