How to Make Peacock
Want to know how to make a peacock craft? With Monkey Pen’s step-by-step guide, the craft is so easy that you can do it with a few basic materials.
Step 1: Take long, narrow rectangular strips of paper of different colors and in different sizes. Say blue, green, yellow, orange and red. Blue is the smallest of all, then green, which is slightly bigger; yellow, a bit larger; orange, bigger in size than yellow; and the last one, red, which is the tallest of the above colors.

Step 2: Arrange the colors in an ascending order based on size. First blue, next green, third yellow, fourth orange and the last red. Then take a glue stick and apply some quantity to the bottom portion of blue.

Step 3: Fold the blue and hold it such that there is a hollow space inside. Then paste it.

Step 4: Similarly, fold every color. You will get a rainbow-colored feather for the peacock.

Step 5: Make another two layers of feathers using the above steps. Totally, three layers are done.

Step 6: Take each layer and hold it next to another so it looks like a flower. Also take a thin white paper strip.

Step 7: Using the white trip, cover the bottom portion where you hold it, and paste it.

Step 8: Make another set of feather patterns using the above steps.

Step 9: Now take a violet, square paper and hold it in a diamond shape.

Step 10: Fold the paper into two halves so they look like a triangle.

Step 11: Unfold the paper; you will see a line that passes vertically between the two triangles.

Step 12: Fold three-fourths of the right-side triangle inwards.

Step 13: Fold the left-side triangle too.

Step 14: Fold the remaining quarter portion of the right-side triangle.

Step 15: Fold the left side too. Now a kite-like design or a narrow diamond is ready.

Step 16: Flip the design and now fold the bottom tip of the diamond design.

Step 17: Turn the diamond design to the right side.

Step 18: Now fold the paper so that it has two halves.

Step 19: Hold the paper on the left side.

Step 20: Then fold and twist the right side of the paper upwards.

Step 21: Then unfold it; the paper comes to the original position.

Step 22: Unfold it once again so it looks like the old diamond design containing an extra folded tip and markings of many folds.

Step 23: Now pull the folding on the right and left side inwards and the lower tail outwards. The design looks as shown in the picture.

Step 24: Now hold the tip of the tail portion and flatten it.

Step 25: Press at the centre of the flattened area and make a gap, then fold the right and left sides of the gap. This step creates the peacock’s face and body.

Step 26: Now attach its eyes, using an eye sticker.

Step 27: Hold the peacock by the backside.

Step 28: Now slightly open the fold at the back to insert the layer of feathers. First, put one set of feathers inside.

Step 29: Behind, place another set of feathers.

Step 30: A colorful peacock craft is ready.
