How to Make Watermelon Paper Card
Ready to do a DIY watermelon paper card? Here is an easy step-by-step guide on how to do it.
Step 1: Cut a huge circle out of green paper. Cut out a circle somewhat smaller than the last one but using red colored paper.

Step 2: Using a glue stick, put some glue on the back of the red circle-shaped paper.

Step 3: Take that red circle and paste it over the green circle, leaving the outer edges of the green circle exposed. The outer green layer is the thick skin of the watermelon, and red circle is the juicy part.

Step 4: Now take a black sketch or a black pen.

Step 5: Draw many tiny, narrow teardrop shaped seeds randomly within the red part.

Step 6: Now fold the whole paper into two halves.

Step 7: Take another green paper cut into a circle and a green sketch pen.

Step 8: Using the sketch pen, draw spiral lines passing diagonally throughout the paper.

Step 9: Fold this paper into two halves too.

Step 10: Then apply some glue on the backside of the folded paper.

Step 11: Now take this circle and, upon it, paste the other circle.

Step 12: Now unfold the circles and flip them so the drawn portions are on the upper side. Hold the upper part of the green circle and the red circle together so the rest looks like a circle and the whole looks like a slice has been cut from it.

Step 13: Take the juicy red part and apply glue to the back of the folded portion.

Step 14: Paste the red juicy part on the white paper.

Step 15: Fold the red part and the green part upon each other and apply some glue on the lower part of the green part. i.e., the lower circle.

Step 16: Then paste the lower part of the green part upon the paper.

Step 17: Above the circle, draw the outline of the leaves lightly using a pencil. Then using a dark green sketch, mark the outline bolder.

Step 18: Complete the leaves of the watermelon.

Step 19: With a light green sketch pen, start shading the leaves.

Step 20: One side of every leaf is colored.

Step 21: Now color the other side of every leaf with even a pale green shade.

Step 22: You have colored the leaves.

Step 23: Now slightly open the circle so it looks like a watermelon slice. Thus, you have created a DIY watermelon paper card.
