How to Draw an Alien – Step-by-Step Space Character Drawing for Kids

Step 1: Draw a big oval shape for the head of the alien.

Step 2: Draw two antennae on the top of the head.

Step 3: Add two big oval eyes and a small smiling mouth.

Step 4: Draw a small hand on the left side as shown in the image.

Step 5: Draw the right arm that is raised.

Step 6: Add the neck and begin to draw the upper body as in the image given.

Step 7: Now add the belt using a round buckle that wraps around the waist of the alien.

Step 8: Draw the right leg with a round foot.

Step 9: Draw the left leg also, with a foot that is rounded.

Step 10: Draw a curving ground line under the alien.

Step 11: Draw the ring of a planet just above the head of the alien.

Step 12: Add the round planet inside the ring you have just drawn.

Step 13: Make a small circle to represent the moon.

Step 14: Create tiny round shapes within the moon.

Step 15: Create the basic shape of a flying saucer (UFO).

Step 16: Finish the UFO by completing the dome and the bottom rings as given in the image.

Step 17: Add the UFO's light as well as the landing leg.

Step 18: Draw small craters in the ground.

Step 19: Put small circles and stars that are scattered in the sky.

Step 20: Draw the pupils and highlights of the alien's eyes.

Step 21: Color your alien with your favourite shades once you finish the drawing.
