How to draw an Armadillo: step-by-step drawing instructions 

Step 1: Draw two ears with pointed ends and the curving face in between them. 

Step 2: Draw the complete shape of the face below the ear. 

Step 3: Include the inner lines in both ears. 

Step 4: Draw the nostril, nose, and smile as in the image. 

Step 5: Draw the eye on top and draw a neckline underneath the head. 

Step 6: Draw a long curved back line to the body. 

Step 7: Complete your physique by drawing the lower part of the belly and the back curve. 

Step 8: Draw two armour bands that are curved across your body. 

Step 9: Draw the long, curved tail to the back. 

Step 10: Draw the front leg and foot. 

Step 11: Draw the foot and leg in the back. 

Step 12: Draw the two other legs under the body. 

Step 13: Then, add claws to each of the four feet. 

Step 14: Draw multiple curved armour stripes across the back in the middle. 

Step 15: Create curved bands along the tail. 

Step 16: Draw a few curved rows across the armour of the body. 

Step 17: Create wavy scale lines over the shoulders. 

Step 18: Complete the tiny scales of the armour on the shoulder. 

Step 19: Create more wavy scale lines on the body's side. 

Step 20: Finish the scales on the body section. 

Step 21: Make wavy scale lines over the back hips. 

Step 22: Make sure you have the right scales for the hips. 

Step 23: Draw tiny scales on the head's top. 

Step 24: Create more small scales on the face. 

Step 25: Draw both eyes. 

Step 26: Include the pupils and highlight in the eyes. 

Step 27: Complete this drawing, darkening the eyes, and finish all the details.
