How to Draw a Ballerina – Simple Step-by-Step Dancer Drawing for Kids

Thinking how to draw a ballerina? Here is a simple tutorial for easy drawing.

Step 1: Draw a hairline for a girl, which is the shape of “7”.

Step 2: Add left ear in oval shape and the lower part of the face with a small curve.

Step 3: Draw the right side face with a curve.

Step 4: Sketch the head above with a round curve.

Step 5: Using a curve, you can complete the head.

Step 6: Add a round bun on top of the head.

Step 7: Provide a hairband for the bun to hold strong.

Step 8: Give eyebrows, eyes, nose and mouth for the girl.

Step 9: Show the hair texture using curly lines.

Step 10: Draw the neck using tiny curves.

Step 11: Make thin strips attached to the dress, on the shoulder.

Step 12: Below the strips, make a “m” shaped design from the dress.

Step 13: Add a left arm along with hands and fingers.

Step 14: Complete the left arm and hand.

Step 15: Now include the right arm and hand too.

Step 16: The right arm, hand and fingers are also completed.

Step 17: Duplicate the “m”-shaped outline for the dress.

Step 18: Design the dress to cover the left side of the body.

Step 19: Now dress on the right side is also designed.

Step 20: Make the bottom portion of the gown on the right side with a sloping line having sharp bends.

Step 21: Create the gown on the left side too.

Step 22: The gown travels below and spreads like a fan in the form of wavy lines.

Step 23: Complete the gown.

Step 24: Add a layer of frills below, using gentle and sharp curves.

Step 25: The layer of frills is completed.

Step 26: Create long, vertical stripes within the fan shape.

Step 27: Make stripes for the remaining portion too.

Step 28: Include a layer of frills in between.

Step 29: Draw the right leg.

Step 30: Provide a shoe to the leg.

Step 31: Sketch the left leg too.

Step 32: Add shoes for the left leg. Remember to provide socks for both the legs.

Step 33: Decorate the top part of the gown using a coiled design.

Step 34: Provide narrow, sharp oval eyes for the dancer.

Step 35: Shade the eyes completely, leaving just one corner of each eye.

Step 36: A graceful ballerina is ready to pose.
