How to Draw a Bearded Dragon – Easy Step-by-Step Lizard Drawing for Kids

Step 1: Make the sloping top of the bearded dragon's head.

Step 2: Create a sharp spiky line to the back side of the head.

Step 3: Draw the curving front line for the face.

Step 4: Add the sharp beard on the chin.

Step 5: Draw a curly curve to complete the bottom of the head.

Step 6: Make the mouth line, eyes, and the nostril as shown in the image.

Step 7: Draw a long back line that is spiky for the body.

Step 8: Make a curved chest line under the head.

Step 9: Draw one of the front legs, and also the sharp claws.

Step 10: Add the second front leg as well as the sharp claws.

Step 11: Draw the belly line in the lower part of the body.

Step 12: Create a curving line at the lower back of the dragon for its left back leg.

Step 13: Draw the back foot with sharp claws.

Step 14: Begin the long curving tail at the back of its body.

Step 15: Finish the tail by smoothing its outside curve.

Step 16: Add small lines for more detailing of the claws.

Step 17: Make small horizontal lines along the length of the tail.

Step 18: Continue to wrap the tailbands around the curved tail.

Step 19: Create face details around the eyes and mouth as shown in the image.

Step 20: Draw tiny scale marks on the head.

Step 21: Put scale marks on both legs.

Step 22: Create bumpy scales on the body.

Step 23: Put more tiny scales along the side on the back of the body.

Step 24: Mark scales across the back leg.

Step 25: Add a small round shape inside the eye.

Step 26: Shade the pupil of the eye.

Step 27: Your bearded dragon drawing is done. Try some vibrant or pastel shades on your drawing to make it more beautiful!
