How to Draw a Boot – Simple Shoe Drawing Activity for Kids

 


Want to know how to draw a boot? Let’s learn the tricks with Monkey Pen’s guide. 

Step 1: Draw an L-shaped outline first, followed by a rounded part in the front for the toe cap.

Step 2: Complete the toe cap using a curved line above that is the other side of the boot.

Step 3: Draw a small hole through which a lace is passing.

Step 4: Above it, add another lace string with a hole.

Step 5: Include another lace and, on top of it, show the tied string knots that resemble a butterfly design.

Step 6: Add narrow dew drops inside the butterfly design to indicate the holes within the tied strings.

Step 7: Show the flap inside, which is a rounded rectangle.

Step 8: Draw the top opening that covers the ankle using a narrow 'U' followed by a tiny line below.

Step 9: Add an outer edge for the collar part.

Step 10: Draw the round pointed edges below for the grip.

Step 11: Include a half-rounded square followed by ''W'-shaped heels at the back. 

Step 12: Draw the flap on the lower side.

Step 13: Above it, extend the flap using vertical lines.

Step 14: Draw the flap above the laces too.

Step 15: Add its boot pair with lower rugged edges first.

Step 16: Then draw the side with a curved line.

Step 17: Include string and hole.

Step 18: Then comes the flip under the lace.

Step 19: Add another hold and string above.

Step 20: Draw the flip still above.

Step 21: Include one more layer of string above that ends with a tied lace knot above it.

Step 22: Draw dew shapes within the tied lace and show tiny stripes inside them. 

Step 23: Complete the outline with a tiny curve and flip above with a rounded design. 

Step 24: Join the other side of the flip with the first boot’s body outline that lies above. 

Step 25: Draw two curved lines above the flip on the second boot. This makes the outer edges of the boot.

Step 26: A sturdy boot drawing is completed.
