How to Draw a Broken Glass Effect – Step-by-Step Art Drawing for Kids
Create an eye-catching visual illusion as Monkey Pen teaches you how to draw a broken glass effect using simple lines and easy techniques.
Step 1: Draw a brief, sharp zigzag line that will start the broken middle portion of the glass.

Step 2: Extend the jagged edge by adding additional sharp zigzag lines on the right-hand side.

Step 3: Continue drawing the zigzag outline on the lower-right corner of the damaged centre.

Step 4: Complete the jagged edge by putting zigzag lines to the left of the line you have just drawn.

Step 5: Draw a few crack lines radiating outward from the damaged centre.

Step 6: Create more long cracks, spreading out in various directions away from the centre.

Step 7: Draw short branch cracks on the crack line.

Step 8: Add additional small branch cracks to fill in the empty spaces.

Step 9: Complete this broken glass illusion by putting in final crack lines, if needed.
