How to Draw a Bulldog Step-by-step – Easy Dog Drawing Tutorial for Kids

This bulldog drawing lesson breaks down one of the most expressive dog breeds into simple, friendly steps that anyone can follow. The guide helps you build the strong head shape, wrinkled face, and sturdy body gradually, so nothing feels too complex at once. Each stage is shown visually, making it easier for beginners and kids to stay confident while drawing. Wrinkled faces, sturdy bodies, and lovable expressions make the bulldog a fun pet to bring to life on paper.

Step 1: Draw a line of wavy lines to the top of the head.

Step 2: Add the left folded ear and the inner line of the ear.

Step 3: Draw the right fold of the ear and the line of the inner ear.

Step 4: Draw the rounded sides of the head of the bulldog.

Step 5: Draw a long-curved line across the face to define an area of the muzzle.

Step 6: Add the lower side contours on the cheeks.

Step 7: Draw the small, rounded chin towards the lower part of the face.

Step 8: Include two cheek lines curving above the chin.

Step 9: Draw the nose and draw the centre line below it.

Step 10: Then, add the wide mouth line on each side.

Step 11: Place the tongue in the mouth.

Step 12: Make wrinkle lines above the muzzle as well as on the cheeks.

Step 13: Make more forehead wrinkles and smaller ear wrinkles.

Step 14: Create short wrinkle lines around the mouth and cheeks.

Step 15: Draw the front leg and the paw.

Step 16: Incorporate the back curve and shoulder behind the head.

Step 17: Draw the belly and chest curves.

Step 18: Add front leg and paw.

Step 19: Draw the curve on the side of the back of the dog’s body.

Step 20: Include the back leg as well as the rear Paw.

Step 21: Draw the back with a rounded shape and a small tail.

Step 22: Completion of the back leg as well as the paw.

Step 23: Put the toenails on the paws of all.

Step 24: Create small wrinkle lines on the legs and chest.

Step 25: Sketch eye-shaped shapes beneath the wrinkles on its forehead.

Step 26: Draw pupils in each eye. And darken them also.

Step 27: Complete the bulldog with checking the neatness of the outline, and make sure that all information is correct. Now try to color your drawing with your favourite shades.
