Step 1: Start with its head using a few tiny spikes. Then add an antenna on both sides of the head.

Step 2: Make its rounded head with spiky spikes.

Step 3: Below, draw it’s full face in the shape of half circle.

Step 4: Draw eyebrows and a big curved lips to represent a smile.

Step 5: Draw the front leg which looks like a chain link.

Step 6: Also create a series of chain links on the other front leg.

Step 7: Create a circle shaped thorax behind the head.

Step 8: Then draw a long raindrop shape for the forewing of the insect.

Step 9: After that draw its middle leg.

Step 10: Also draw its rear leg.

Step 19: Draw wide, circular eyes for your insect.

Step 20: Draw little circles inside the eyes. Darken them leaving the centre for the eyeballs.
