Step 1: Draw a short, narrow vertical shape for the spire at the top as in the image.

Step 2: Extend a long-curved line down from the spire to form the outer edge of the building.

Step 3: Draw a vertical line downwards, beneath the spire, and add another curved line nearly beside the outer edge.

Step 4: Add a small platform projecting from the left side of the building just as in the image.

Step 5: Extend a long vertical line down from the small platform.

Step 6: Draw a curved inner line and connect it to the vertical structure with a diagonal line.

Step 7: Add two more diagonal lines to divide the left side into sections.

Step 8: Draw another section near the bottom using vertical and diagonal lines.

Step 9: Extend a curved line from the top of the building towards the right.

Step 10: Draw a flattened oval at the end of the curved line for the helipad.

Step 11: Add the short supports beneath the helipad.

Step 12: Draw a sloping line connecting the helipad structure to the building.

Step 13: Add a long-curved line inside the building’s sail-shaped section.

Step 14: Draw a small triangular support beneath the helipad. 

Step 15: Extend a long-curved line down from the helipad to form one side of the façade.

Step 16: Add another long-curved line beside it.

Step 17: Draw the outermost curved line to complete the right edge of the building.

Step 18: Begin adding short curved horizontal lines across the upper façade.

Step 19: Continue the curved horizontal lines down the middle section.

Step 20: Add more horizontal lines to complete the façade panels.

Step 21: Draw diagonal support lines inside the upper-left sections.

Step 22: Continue adding diagonal supports down the left side. Draw lines parallel to the ones you have just drawn.

Step 23: Add inner lines to complete the triangular support framework.

Step 24: Draw a small rectangular base at the bottom-right side of the building.

Step 25: Add another line below the rectangle to give the base thickness.

Step 26: Draw several short vertical lines inside the base.

Step 27: Add small bushy shapes along the bottom of the building.

Step 28: Draw a few thin vertical trunks around the bushes.

Step 29: Add palm leaves to the tops of the trunks.

Step 30: Draw the long ground platform beneath the building.

Step 31: Extend several curved lines to the right to begin the bridge.

Step 32: Add short vertical supports beneath the bridge.

Step 33: Draw a long curved line beneath the platform to form the island’s lower edge. Now colour your drawing to make it look more realistic!

Step 34: Fill the island edge with a row of small, rounded rocks.

Step 35: Draw several wavy lines beneath the island and bridge for the water.

Step 36: Check the outlines and erase any unnecessary lines to complete the Burj Al Arab drawing.
