Set sail across the oceans with Monkey Pen and learn how to draw a cargo ship step by step using simple shapes and easy details.

Step 1: Draw a long wavy line for the water.

Step 2: Draw the front part of the ship in a '7' shape above the waterline.

Step 3: Draw a horizontal line for the top of the ship.

Step 4: Turn left and draw a straight line forward and a curved line below to form the back of the ship.

Step 5: Draw a horizontal line on the front half of the ship.

Step 6: Draw a long straight line on the bottom of the ship.

Step 7: Draw a long rectangle above the top edge for the first container.

Step 8: Draw a little box shape on the front part of the spacecraft.

Step 9: Draw a slanting line from the box backwards to create the second container. 

Step 10: Make little rectangles for the third container above.

Step 11: Make little railings on the back half of the ship.

Step 12: Build a tall rectangle for the bridge of the ship next to the railing.

Step 13: To that, add another tall rectangle with a thin coating on top of it.

Step 14: Build the thin roofs on the top of the bridge.

Step 15: Create a tiny box shape above it.

Step 16: Add a mast on top of it, with a crossbar.

Step 17: Behind the bridge, construct the funnel.

Step 18: Make several short vertical lines across the top cargo container.

Step 19: Include more vertical lines in the second container as well.

Step 20: T he vertical lines are drawn on the bottom container too.

Step 21: Don’t forget to add a door, a round window, and an anchor for the ship.

Step 22: Small, square windows are added to the bridge.

Step 23: Under the ship, draw some wavy lines to indicate the water flow.

Step 24: An easy cargo ship drawing is done.
