Drawing a castle may seem complex, but with Monkey Pen’s step-by-step guide, it can be made very simple.
Step 1: Draw a medium rectangle in the first vertical position, first.

Step 2: Draw a straight line below the rectangle that slightly rises in the middle.

Step 3: On top of the rectangle, draw a thin rectangle with upper edges making a pattern of mini half-squares at adjacent distances.

Step 4: Above it, add small cylindrical shapes on the extreme right and left sides each.

Step 5: Draw small towers on top of it, at extreme positions, using triangles.

Step 6: Keeping this rectangle as the centre, draw long cylinders on the left and right with their tops slightly rounded.

Step 7: From the main rectangle to the side cylinders, create a pattern of mini half squares on each side.

Step 8: On top of the side cylinders, repeat the pattern of mini half squares. (Refer to step 3 and step 7).

Step 9: Between the triangular tombs on the sides above the central rectangle, draw a small half-rectangle.

Step 10: Add a half-square pattern above this rectangle; that creates another rectangle.

Step 11: Beside the triangular towers on the right and left, add one more cylinder on every side.

Step 12: On top of each cylinder, draw a triangle for the tower shape, with a rounded tip on top.

Step 13: Above the mini square patterns in the centre, draw a tiny rectangle.

Step 14: Draw a slightly bigger triangle over it.

Step 15: Over the mini squares on the extreme right and left, include a thin strip that looks like a rectangle.

Step 16: Above the thin strips, make tower shapes using triangles.

Step 17: Add a curved line on top of the big cylinders at extreme positions and above the base of each triangle.

Step 18: Design a door or an entrance at the centre, with a cork-shaped design on the top.

Step 19: Draw an outline for the door; also add a vertical line that runs centrally within it. Also add a door lock that resembles a twisted hook.

Step 20: Within the base shapes like cylinder and rectangle, add tiny cylinders with tops curved and little sharp.

Step 21: Similarly, provide the same cylinder shapes below every triangle, located at the core.

Step 22: Add a flag above each triangle.

Step 23: Within the central triangle and left and right triangles, draw wavy patterns that run throughout the body.

Step 24: Repeat the patterns for the remaining tiny triangles below.

Step 25: Show tiny bricks on the base design and one portion on top using tiny squares.

Step 26: Show plants growing beside them that look like fluffy clouds

Step 27: A dreamy castle drawing is just completed. Start shading using colors of your favorite choices.
