How to Draw a Cherry – Easy Fruit Drawing Tutorial for Kids

Round fruit shapes and curly stems make this cherry drawing activity sweet, simple, and fun for young artists.

Step 1: Draw a small curved line, then sketch a pointed cherry leaf with tiny jagged edges.

Step 2: Add a short open stem at the end of the leaf.

Step 3: Draw a long, curved stem coming down from the top.

Step 4: Add another curved line beside it to make the stem thicker.

Step 5: Draw the main vein inside the leaf from the stem to the leaf tip.

Step 6: Add small curved veins on the leaf.

Step 7: Draw a round cherry shape at the end of one stem.

Step 8: Add a small oval opening where the stem joins the cherry.

Step 9: Draw a second round cherry beside the first one.

Step 10: Add a small oval opening where the other stem joins the second cherry.

Step 11: Finish the drawing by checking the two cherries, their stems, and leaves, then neatly darken the final outline. Now color them with your favourite colors.
