How to draw a chihuahua: step-by-step drawing instructions 

Step 1: Draw a tiny curve at the very top of the head of the chihuahua.

Step 2: Add the left ear.

Step 3: Draw the right ear.

Step 4: Create two curly lines to mark the upper side of the dog's face.

Step 5: Draw the left cheek as well as a half portion of the chin.

Step 6: Add the cheeks that are fluffy to complete the lower part of the face.

Step 7: Sketch the inner side outline of both ears.

Step 8: Add the ears' furry features inside.

Step 9: Draw small eyebrows, a nose, and a smiling mouth.

Step 10: Put whiskers on either side.

Step 11: Place the fluffy fur under the cheeks.

Step 12: Finish the soft chest fur.

Step 13: Create a long, curved line towards the back.

Step 14: Sketch one of the two front legs.

Step 15: Make sure to add the second front leg also.

Step 16: Draw the chest and belly lines.

Step 17: Add the back leg in between the front legs as shown in the image.

Step 18: Draw the second folded back foot also.

Step 19: Create an inverted line for the hind leg.

Step 20: Draw the furry tail.

Step 21: Add small lines in the paws to show the toes.

Step 22: Create two large circles to represent the eyes. Darken the nose also.

Step 23: Include the pupils, darken them and add highlights within the eyes.
