How to Draw a Claw Machine – Easy Arcade Drawing for Kids

Check out Monkey Pen’s step-by-step tutorial for how to draw a claw machine.

Step 1: In the beginning, make a thin rectangle in front view and then a small sliding rectangle in its side view.

Step 2: Extend short lines vertically around the corners.

Step 3: Now create another long rectangle which makes front and side of the top portion.

Step 4: Draw an L-shaped line on right side, below the top.

Step 5: Make another L-shaped line on the left side too and along with it, draw almost a straight line that goes horizontally.

Step 6: Define the sides of the claw machine with a vertical line.

Step 7: Sketch a round nozzle-like thing attached to an oval base.

Step 8: In this step, sketch the lower part of the claw machine in the form of a rectangular shape.

Step 9: Make an inclined line at the back in the left direction.

Step 10: Draw the base of the claw machine in rectangular shape and then make lines diagonally horizontally with a vertical line.

Step 11: Using vertical lines that delineate the sides, join the corners inside the base.

Step 12: Create a huge half-rectangular glass window for the machine.

Step 13: Beside the window, draw lines vertically on both sides.

Step 14: Design a glass on left side too.

Step 15: Beside it, draw a line extending vertically.

Step 16: Make a square box-like thing attached inside the glass window at the top.

Step 17: Create a metal part attached below with a tubular design followed by a tiny rectangle below.

Step 18: Design a hanging claw that looks like a small ‘m’ or fingers.

Step 19: Make a long, metal-rod-like thing for the hanging claw to pass through.

Step 20: Add inner edges for the sliding part at the bottom of the claw machine.

Step 21: Design a coin/card acceptor in rectangle shape with narrow rectangles inside it. Beside it, add an oval-shaped button with a curved base.

Step 22: Add a rectangular box on the right side of bottom portion, that denotes the prize area.

Step 23: Draw lines vertically, horizontally and diagonally.

Step 24: On the left side, draw a double-layered square with corners rounded, which represents the prize mechanism zone.

Step 25: Add a thin tubular shape, a small door-like thing with a U-shaped design inside, and a tiny round placed outside this. Few stars can be added as designs on the side bottom part.

Step 26: Now make a soft teddy bear to be placed within the toy area.

Step 27: Add a slightly bigger teddy bear on the right side of the existing toy.

Step 28: Put the rabbit on the left-hand side.

Step 29: Place another soft toy next to it.

Step 30: Create a puppy and place it on the toy section.

Step 31: Create the glass edges on the right side as well, with parallel vertical lines.

Step 32: Write "CLAW MACHINE" in block letters on top.

Step 33: On the front and back, add a star.

Step 34: Give inner ears, eyes, a nose and a mouth for every toy.

Step 35: Draw strong base for the machine using tiny curves.

Step 36: A fun-filled claw machine is designed.
