How to Draw a Coconut – Simple Step-by-Step Tropical Fruit Drawing for Kids

Step 1: Draw an oval for the mouth opening of the coconut.

Step 2: On one side of the oval, draw a loose curve.

Step 3: Draw the outer oval form around it.

Step 4: Draw a broader curved line below to create the coconut shell.

Step 5: Continue the shell curve to the opposite side.

Step 6: Draw another curved line close to the top edge.

Step 7: Draw a wavy inner border to reveal the coconut flesh.

Step 8: Draw a large round coconut behind the chopped one.

Step 9: Complete the large round coconut shape.

Step 10: Put three small oval spots at the top.

Step 11: Draw some short, curved lines on the front of the chopped coconut to give it texture.

Step 12: Draw little lines around the white flesh of the coconut.

Step 13: Draw several additional short texture lines all over the coconut.

Step 14: Continue adding texture lines to make it look realistic.

Step 15: Draw the first long leaf form at the bottom.

Step 16: Use more long pointed leaves.

Step 17: Behind the coconut, draw the remaining leaves.

Step 18: You have finished drawing a coconut and it is ready for you to color in.
