How to Draw a Cow – Easy Farm Animal Drawing for Kids

This cow drawing lesson takes a familiar farm animal and makes it feel surprisingly simple to draw from the very first step. Beginners are guided through building the cow’s rounded body, gentle face, and characteristic spots using clear, step-by-step visuals that remove the guesswork. Each stage feels approachable, even for kids who are just starting out with animal drawing. How to draw a cow: step-by-step drawing instructions 

Step 1: Draw a small hair tuft on the top of the head of the cow. 

Step 2: Include the two horns that are curled at the ends. 

Step 3: Draw two ears wide, with one on each side. 

Step 4: Begin with a drawing of your face's sides below the ears. 

Step 5: Draw the muzzle that is large and rounded. 

Step 6: Include the lower mouth curved line underneath the muzzle. 

Step 7: Draw the inner ear's features, as well as the small nostrils. 

Step 8: The left-hand side is drawn on your neck downwards from the head. 

Step 9: Then, draw a curved line underneath the head to form the throat. 

Step 10: The bell should be hung just below the neck. 

Step 11: The bell's lower rim can be added, as well as the inside of the bell. 

Step 12: The cow's rear should be drawn beginning behind the head, and then curving toward the back. 

Step 13: Continue to draw the body, taking the back part of the body as well as the beginning of the belly. 

Step 14: The front foot is drawn as it comes down, and then includes the hoof. 

Step 15: Make the belly line as well as the back leg go to the right side. 

Step 16: The hind foot should be drawn to the left side with its hoof. 

Step 17: Draw the opposite foot and hoof.

Step 20: The tail should be drawn from the cow's back, and the tail tuft should be put on top. 

Step 21: Create small lines of detail on the hooves as well as the tail hair

Step 22: Make some cow patches across the body, and one hanging from beneath the neck. 

Step 23: Patches on the body, and a tiny hanging detail to be placed underneath the neck. 

Step 24: Draw two eyes. 

Step 25: Darken the eyeballs also. 

Step 26: Your cute cow drawing is ready. Color it as you wish and enjoy!
