How to Draw Cupid – Easy Step-by-Step Character Drawing for Kids

Step 1: Draw a few small, curved lines for the front curls of Cupid's hair.

Step 2: Add more curved lines down the right side of the head.

Step 3: Draw Cupid's right ear and a short line for the jaw.

Step 4: Draw the left side of the face and curve the line around the chin.

Step 5: Add a few curls along the left side of the head.

Step 6: Draw a large, bumpy line across the top of the head for the curly hair.

Step 7: Complete the curls on the right side of the head.

Step 8: Draw Cupid's small nose and mouth, and add details inside the ear.

Step 9: Draw a curved line below the head for the left shoulder, just as shown in the image.

Step 10: Draw the bent left arm in front of the body.

Step 11: Draw a long arrow pointing towards the left. Add a heart-shaped arrowhead.

Step 12: Add a small right hand and curved finger holding the arrow.

Step 13: Complete Cupid's left arm reaching towards the bow. Add the fingers around the bow's handle.

Step 14: Add the remaining fingers and add small details of the bow in the right fist.

Step 15: Draw the curved upper half of the bow, ending with a small spiral.

Step 16: Draw the curved lower half of the bow and finish it with another spiral.

Step 17: Draw the bowstring from the top of the bow to its other end, as the Cupid's left hand pulls it.

Step 18: Start to draw the right side of the upper body of the Cupid.

Step 19: Draw a curved line down from the left arm and a curved line near the waist to form Cupid's body, just as shown in the image.

Step 20: Draw a curled piece of cloth flowing from Cupid's shoulder.

Step 21: Draw the lower part of Cupid's short tunic.

Step 22: Extend a long, wavy line behind Cupid to begin the flowing sash.

Step 23: Add another wavy line to complete the sash.

Step 24: Draw a long, curved line downward to begin the front leg.

Step 25: Complete the front leg and draw the small foot and toes.

Step 31: Add a row of small inner feathers in the Cupid's bow.

Step 32: Add extra curls to the hair and small, curved folds to the clothes and sash.

Step 33: Draw two large eyes, small eyebrows, and small eyelid lines.

Step 34: Draw the pupils and add small highlights inside the eyes.

Step 35: Darken the pupils and erase any unnecessary lines to complete your Cupid drawing. Your drawing is finished; now try coloring it!
