Step 1: Begin with a small wavy, curved line on one side of the centre of the daffodil.

Step 2: Continue to make the wavy line to make a full ruffled circle.

Step 3: Make an arc shape within the circle for the trumpet shape.

Step 4: Make two tiny stamens inside the flower.

Step 5: Make an arch shape on the left side.

Step 6: Make a long, pointed petal on the upper left side.

Step 7: Make a pointed petal on the left side.

Step 8: Make a pointed petal at the bottom.

Step 9: Make a petal on the lower right side.

Step 10: Make a petal on the right side.

Step 11: Make the last petal on the top.

Step 12: To make the stem make two long curved lines down from the bottom of the flower.

Step 13: Make a long, narrow leaf on the left side of the stem.

Step 14: Make a tall leaf next to it.

Step 15: Make a long-curved leaf on the right side.

Step 16: Draw a big leaf on the very right.

Step 17: Inside the centre of the flower draw short curving lines.

Step 18: Add some vein lines inside some of the petals.

Step 19: Draw more vein lines on the other petals.

Step 20: Draw some vein lines into the lengthy leaves.

Step 21: A daffodil is blooming brightly.
