Sparkling edges and geometric shapes make drawing a diamond both creative and surprisingly easy for young artists.

Step 1: Draw first a wide ‘V’.

Step 2: Draw shorter lines at an angle on both sides of the opening of the V.

Step 3: Draw slanting lines facing each other from both sides and join these by drawing a short line to complete the upper part.

Step 4: Below each slanting line, draw a tiny line diagonally lying opposite to each other.

Step 5: Now make short lines almost in a straight manner from both sides to form the top face.

Step 6: From each side of V, draw a tiny line in a slanting way.

Step 7: Then create a series with few lines having angled corners.

Step 8: Inside the top face, add two small lines lying opposite to each other and facing outward. This looks like a trapezium in the centre and triangles at the ends.

Step 9: Below the top face, draw a narrow V on the right-side corner, which is another face.

Step 10: Add the next face with a slightly wider V.

Step 11: Draw another face by making one broader V.

Step 12: Add a narrow V toward the left corner to complete the last face in that sequence.

Step 13: Now draw a long narrow V within the base, that indicates a face.

Step 14: Draw a vertical line diagonally on the right side closer to ‘V’.

Step 15: Draw a line on the left side too. (Refer to step 14)

Step 16: In the right corner, draw an inclined line vertically that lie almost near the outer edges.

Step 17: Create one such line on the left side corner, too.

Step 18: A sparkling diamond artwork is completed.
