How to Draw a Dragon Fruit – Easy Step-by-Step Fruit Drawing for Kids

Step 1: Draw a slanting, oval shape to form the initial outline of the dragon fruit.

Step 2: Draw a second oval around the first oval to create a thick border.

Step 3: Draw tiny bumpy curves on the base of the fruit.

Step 4: Add one small pointed leaf at the lower part of the fruit.

Step 5: Draw a larger, sharp leaf along the bottom left side as shown in the image.

Step 6: Place another long, curved leaf near the one you have just drawn.

Step 7: Draw two leaves of flamelike shape in the upper right.

Step 8: Create a long curving branch on the left side.

Step 9: Add an elongated leaf to the tip of the stem.

Step 10: Draw another pointed leafy structure near the one that you have just drawn.

Step 11: Draw a tall pointed leaf to the left of the fruit.

Step 12: Add two more-pointed leaves on the top.

Step 13: Create a second pointed leaf alongside the upper leaves.

Step 14: Create an elongated leaf that is tall on the right side.

Step 15: Draw the curved outer edge of the entire dragon fruit.

Step 16: Add a pointed wavy leaf on the left side just as in the image given.

Step 17: Create two curving outlines along the front of the fruit.

Step 18: Add another sharp, pointed shape line on the upper portion.

Step 19: Draw further curving outer lines across the fruit just as in the image.

Step 20: Draw two leaves to the left of the bottom.

Step 21: Add the leaves' central veins.

Step 22: Draw the small veins within the leaves.

Step 23: Make tiny seed marks inside the fruit that you cut.

Step 24: Finish the drawing by completing the seed marks and tidying the outline. Now color your drawing to make the dragon fruit yummier!
