How to Draw Feet – Easy Step-by-Step Body Part Drawing for Kids

Feet can be one of the trickiest body parts to sketch, but this lesson makes the process feel much more approachable. The step-by-step visual guide breaks the drawing into simple shapes and clear stages, helping beginners understand proportions, toe placement, and overall structure without getting overwhelmed. It’s a useful practice exercise for learners building confidence with figure drawing and anatomy basics. Printable PDF worksheets are included, making it easy to repeat each stage, refine details, and gradually become more comfortable drawing feet from different angles.

The following is a guideline on how to easily draw the feet.

Step 1: Start by drawing a large toe resembling a capital letter U.

Step 2: Next, draw the small m-shaped toes that are beside the large toe.

Step 3: The fourth and fifth toes can be drawn using curving lines ending in short vertical lines.

Step 4: Draw the outline of the foot that is on the right using a vertical line.

Step 5: Draw the left side foot using a downwardly extending line.

Step 6: Draw the back of the feet that appears round.

Step 7: Draw the toes using short vertical lines.

Step 8: Make a nail on the big toe, square shape with the corners rounded.

Step 9: Add nails on the remaining toes.

Step 10: The left feet is done. Draw the right feet starting with the big toe.

Step 11: Then add the next toe.

Step 12: Include the third and fourth toes.

Step 13: Sketch the little toe and extend a line downwards that makes the side of the foot.

Step 14: Make the other side of the foot with a long line running vertically.

Step 15: Complete the foot outline with the portion at the back.

Step 16: Draw the big toe for this foot.

Step 17: Sketch the remaining toes that are tiny ovals.

Step 18: A simple feet drawing is ready.
