How to draw a finch: step-by-step drawing instructions 

Step 1: Draw a small pointed beak with two curved lines. 

Step 2: Add a long-curved line from the top of the beak to form the head and back. 

Step 3: Draw a curved line down from the beak to shape the chest and belly. 

Step 4: Extend the lower body line and add a jagged back edge for the tail area. 

Step 5: Draw a long-curved wing inside the body. 

Step 6: Add small feather bumps under the belly. 

Step 7: Draw the lower tail line behind the body. 

Step 8: Add the first long tail feather. 

Step 9: Draw another long tail feather beside it. 

Step 10: Start the first leg with a curved line under the body. 

Step 11: Add the foot and small claws. 

Step 12: Draw the second leg with a curved line. 

Step 13: Add the second foot and claws. 

Step 14: Draw a curved branch under the feet.
