How to Draw a Golden Retriever Step-by-step – Easy Dog Drawing for Kids

Step 1: Draw its head with delicate curves.

Step 2: Next add it’s long, thin, fluffy ears.

Step 3: Draw its furry face with spikes beginning from the right.

Step 4: Use spikes to finish the left side of the face.

Step 5: Draw its nose that looks like a rounded triangle and mouth in the shape of ‘w’.

Step 6: Give its mouth the shape of a wide curve, a ‘U’, and the tongue in its mouth should also be a wide U shape.

Step 7: Draw eyebrows and a chin just below its mouth.

Step 8: Create its neck from the left side which is covered with hair.

Step 9: Use small, sharp curves to finish its neck on the right side.

Step 10: Sketch its long-curved back body.

Step 11: Add a long, soft-furred front leg.

Step 12: Include the other front leg too. Don’t forget to draw a small, inclined line between the legs, for the lower body.

Step 13: Create the lower body at the back using gentle spikes. Also add one of its hind legs.

Step 14: Sketch the other hind leg too.

Step 15: Mark its thigh for that hind leg with a C shaped curve.

Step 16: Add a short thick, fluffy tail at the back.

Step 17: Provide toes for each of its legs.

Step 18: Show the hair covered over its face and body surface using tiny and small commas.

Step 19: Draw its eyes that look like small sharp ovals.

Step 20: Shade each eye completely.

Step 21: You have sketched a cheerful golden retriever.
