Step 1: Draw a small, curved line to form the beak of the hawk.

Step 2: Create a rounded curve on top for the lower side of the head of the hawk.

Step 3: Draw a long curved line under the head, starting from the beak towards the chest.

Step 4: Incorporate the hooked beak with a smaller mouthline.

Step 5: Draw the eye region and head features.

Step 6: Draw a long curving line starting from the back of the head to create the upper portion of the bird’s body.

Step 7: Include the feathers on the lower side of the body for one of the legs of the hawk.

Step 8: Draw tiny jagged feathers on the base of the body for the upper portion of the second leg.

Step 9: The upper back line should be extended toward the back.

Step 10: Draw a curved shape of a wing into the bird’s body.

Step 11: Extend that curve to form an angled feather-shaped wing.

Step 12: Add two lines underneath the body just behind the wing that you have drawn just now.

Step 13: Draw the first leg as well as sharp claws.

Step 14: Then add the second leg and additional curved claws.

Step 15: Create small curves of feathers in the wings.

Step 16: Make a wavy line over the feathers just below the one you have inside the wing.

Step 17: Draw more feather lines in the wing.

Step 18: Add the lower feather section at the point.

Step 19: Make additional feather lines along the lower wings.

Step 20: Include lines along to the end of the wing.

Step 21: Create small feather-like marks on legs and chest.

Step 22: Make more feather designs on the body and wings.

Step 23: Draw a curving branch beneath the feet of the hawk.

Step 24: Create a new branch line under the first one you have just drawn, and a twig of a smaller size.

Step 25: Draw the tail that is hanging beneath the branch.

Step 26: Incorporate straight feather lines into the tail.

Step 27: Draw curving lines across the tail, and then add small lines inside the claws.

Step 28: Add additional information for the branch using small lines.

Step 29: Draw the round eye using a small circle and darken the eyeball.

Step 30: Your majestic hawk is ready to fly now. Give it some color to make your drawing more realistic!
