How to Draw a Jack-o’-Lantern – Easy Step-by-Step Halloween Drawing for Kids

Step 1: Draw an elongated pumpkin stem that has an upward spiral with a wavy base.

Step 2: On the left end of the stem, draw a long, curving line that runs downward to begin the body of the pumpkin.

Step 3: Draw another long curve on the left to complete the pumpkin-shaped round shape.

Step 4: Inside your pumpkin, trace a large oval curve to create the middle part.

Step 5: Draw two curved lines from the bottom and top inside the pumpkin to mark the segments of the pumpkin.

Step 6: Create two short lines at the top of the pumpkin to show its ridges.

Step 7: Draw a curly, curly vine to the left from the stem.

Step 8: Create a second vine line parallel to the first and curl the top.

Step 9:Draw a second vine to the left, with a slight curl towards the end.

Step 10: Create a small spiral on the vine on your left.

Step 11: Draw a curved line over the pumpkin, connecting it to the vines.

Step 12: Begin drawing a jagged leaf shape on your left side.

Step 13: Fill in your outline of the leaf.

Step 14: The leaf veins should be drawn from the centre to the outside.

Step 15: Draw a wide, curving smile on the mouth of the pumpkin.

Step 16: Put teeth in and a tongue in the mouth.

Step 17: Create two eyes in triangles, as well as an elongated triangle nose.

Step 18: Clean up the drawing by removing the lines and adding face detail. And your jack o lantern drawing is completed successfully.
