Draw one of the world's biggest fruits with Monkey Pen and learn how to create a jackfruit step by step using simple shapes and textured details.

Step 1: First start with a curved branch with an oval at its tip.

Step 2: Add the stem of the fruit to the left side of the main stem.

Step 3: Draw a broad leaf behind the stem.

Step 4: Add one more leaf above the curved stem.

Step 5: Make midribs of the leaves.

Step 6: Draw a big “C” shape using tiny curves for the thick outer skin of the fruit.

Step 7: Complete the outline of the fruit.

Step 8: From the bottom of the fruit’s inside, draw a sloping line.

Step 9: Below the sloping line, make a wide ‘U’ to show the fruit slice.

Step 10: Draw an arc made up of curves inside the fruit slice to show its thickness.

Step 11: Draw a big, wide ‘U’ above the rough outer skin. This forms the pulp.

Step 12: Make another small wide U using curves on the upper portion of the slice. This is the central part of the fruit.

Step 13: Add veins inside one leaf.

Step 14: Now include veins on the other leaf too.

Step 15: Draw short lines and curves within the branch of the plant.

Step 16: Add big fruit pods in the shape of rounded triangles inside the pulp of the slice.

Step 17: Draw small spikes on the first half of the whole jackfruit for its rough outer skin.

Step 18: Add more spikes on the remaining part.

Step 19: Some spikes are made on the half-cut slice’s outer skin.

Step 20: A tropical jackfruit drawing is over.
