Glide through the ocean with Monkey Pen and learn how to draw a manta ray using smooth curves and simple step-by-step instructions.

Step 1: First we will start with the mouth that looks like two curved horns joined by a short line.

Step 2: Draw a large curve in the shape of a ‘U’ for the body, from the left horn.

Step 3: Draw a short, curved line on the right side, from the mouth.

Step 4: From the right-side curve, extend almost a straight line towards the left.

Step 5: Draw a big, curved line that runs smoothly from the left side curve on the top.

Step 6: Connect the long lines at the back with a small ‘W’.

Step 7: Create a long, thin tail behind W.

Step 8: Add two curved lines one below the other, near the mouth.

Step 9: Under the right horn shaped mouth draw short gill lines.

Step 10: Also draw similar curving gill lines under the horn on the left.

Step 11: Draw small dot like circles in between the gill lines.

Step 12: Draw the eye close to the front near the mouth.

Step 13: Add some small rocks to the bottom.

Step 14: Add a wavy line for the ocean bed.

Step 15: Put some coral on the rocks.

Step 16: Add seaweed to the sea floor.

Step 17: Draw some bubbles around the manta ray.
