How to Draw a Maple Tree – Simple Step-by-Step Tree Drawing for Kids

Step 1: Draw four maple leaves in a curved row just as shown in the image.

Step 2: Add four more maple leaves across the top in a semi-circular shape.

Step 3: Draw three more leaves down the right side.

Step 4: Add four maple leaves inside the left row of leaves, for the middle parts of the tree.

Step 5: Draw four more leaves inside the middle and lower-right areas.

Step 6: Begin drawing the upper branches between the leaves.

Step 7: Add more branches through the upper-middle part of the tree.

Step 8: Draw several branches extending towards the leaves on the left.

Step 9: Add branches extending towards the leaves on the right.

Step 10: Draw more curved branches across the lower part of the leafy crown.

Step 11: Draw a long-curved line downwards to form the left side of the trunk.

Step 12: Add another long-curved line to form the right side of the trunk.

Step 13: Draw pointed roots along the bottom-left side of the trunk.

Step 14: Add more pointed roots along the bottom-right side.

Step 15 : Draw several curved lines inside the trunk to show its texture.

Step 16: Add centre veins inside four leaves on the left.

Step 17: Draw centre veins inside four leaves across the upper-middle area.

Step 18: Add centre veins inside four leaves on the upper-right side.

Step 19: Draw centre veins inside three more leaves on the right.

Step 20: Add centre veins inside the remaining lower leaves.

Step 21: Draw a few small tufts of grass beside the trunk.

Step 22: Add curved ground lines on both sides of the tree.

Step 23: Begin drawing a wavy outline around the lower-left group of leaves.

Step 24: Continue the wavy outline upwards along the left side.

Step 25: Extend the wavy outline across the upper-left part of the tree.

Step 26: Continue the outline across the top and upper-right side.

Step 27: Draw the wavy outline farther down the right side.

Step 28: Complete the outline around the lower-right group of leaves.

Step 29: Check the drawing and erase any unnecessary lines to complete the maple tree. Color your drawing to make it more beautiful!
