How to Draw a Medal – Easy Award Step-by-Step Drawing for Kids

Follow the steps in this guide from Monkey Pen and learn how to create a medal.

Step 1: The first thing you want to do is draw a little circle.

Step 2: Draw a small circle outside the small one.

Step 3: Draw a circle, closer to the outside circle. This is the metal portion of the medal

Step 4: Attach a ring shape above the metal to tie a ribbon around.

Step 5: Form a rectangle of loop and pass it through the opening of the circular metal hook.

Step 6: Make a ribbon that appears like a sliding rectangle.

Step 7: Make the opposite section of the ribbon with another sliding rectangle. It all looks like the letter “V” in the alphabet.

Step 8: Draw diagonal lines vertically within the first part of V.

Step 9: Draw similar lines inside the later part of V.

Step 10: Draw a small star above the inner circle of the medal.

Step 11: Then draw an emblem that outlines the inner circle and covers three-fourths of it. Don’t forget to add a tiny circle at the middle of circular lines raised above.

Step 12: Add tiny leaf shapes on either side of the circular lines that look like branches

Step 13: Create leaf designs on circular lines that are extending above.

Step 14:  A round medal drawing is completed
