Step 4: Then draw its neck with a curve sloping downwards.

Step 5: Draw its lower body that looks slightly rounded with a few tiny spikes and bumps.

Step 6: Move on to its upper body with a medium-sized curve.

Step 7: Add a layer of feathers inside using a half oval.

Step 8: Draw its tail feather at the back with a small protrusion.

Step 9: Between the upper and lower beak, draw a slanting line inside. Also, include a flat U with a tiny bump below the lower body.

Step 11: Add its right leg too.

Step 12: Add a series of tiny Us to show the feather pattern.

Step 13: Add another layer of wing patterns.

Step 14: Within the lower beak, draw another line just below the outline. Also include horizontal lines within the feet to show its webbed feet.

Step 15: Draw vertical lines for the feather pattern, then draw a wide V facing sideways, followed by tiny dashes.

Step 16: From the middle of the pelican’s legs, draw a bigger half-oval to show the surface it’s standing on.

Step 17: Beside it, on the right side, add a plant having long, narrow leaves.

Step 18: Include eyebrows and eyes for the pelican that appear like a tiny curve with small rounds below.

Step 19: Darken the eye inside, leaving the corners free. This step indicates the eyeball.

Step 20: Graceful pelican art is ready.
