How to draw a pirate captain: step-by-step drawing instructions 

Step 1: Draw a small skull shape for the pirate hat badge. 

Step 2: Add two crossed bones under the skull. 

Step 3: Draw the top curved line of the pirate hat. 

Step 4: Add the wide side curves of the hat. 

Step 5: Draw the lower curved edge of the hat. 

Step 6: Add another curved band line across the hat. 

Step 7: Draw the eye patch shape under the hat. 

Step 8: Add the side lines of the face. 

Step 9: Draw the moustache with soft, curved lines. 

Step 10: Add the nose and small beard details. 

Step 11: Draw the hair on both sides of the face. 

Step 12: Add the pointed beard around the chin.
